Since its founding in 1827, Tiffany & Co. has woven a rich tradition of pearls into its storied legacy. This heritage shines through as a hallmark of Tiffany’s design, from the seed-pearl suite gifted by Abraham Lincoln to his wife to the rare saltwater pearls featured in the Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Pearl collection.
This year, from late spring through summer, Pharrell Williams launched his inaugural Tiffany Titan collection. The collection presents sophisticated designs crafted from 18-karat yellow gold and black titanium, detailed with dazzling diamonds. The latest additions to the collection further enhance with the inclusion of high- lustre freshwater pearls and additional diamond accents.

Drawing inspiration from Poseidon’s trident, the mythical ruler of the sea and King of Atlantis, this collection pays homage to the musician’s own roots in the Virginia Beach community of Atlantis. The trident’s powerful, spear-like design contrasts beautifully with the collection’s soft, curved links, creating a dynamic interplay of tension, proportion, and balance.
“In Japan, it was believed that pearls were created from the tears of mythical water creatures; so I naturally gravitated towards them as a means of expressing this connection to water,” Williams elaborates on his inspiration for the Tiffany Titan collection.

The latest creations see the bold spear motif of diamonds juxtaposed with over 11mm freshwater pearls, forming distinctive silhouettes across necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings. Noteworthy pieces in this collection include a statement necklace encrusted with freshwater pearls and nearly 1 carat of diamonds, as well as a bracelet featuring freshwater pearls with over 2 carats of diamonds. 18k gold spike rondelles interspersed with pearls offer a luminous visual contrast on both the bracelet and necklace.
