The Brasserie Presents A New Menu At The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur

The Brasserie at The St. Regis presents the launch of a new menu offering an immersive dining experience with an innovative take on Modern European cooking.

Set against one of the most prestigious and romantic neighbourhoods of Kuala Lumpur’s largest park, the Lake Gardens, The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur combines timeless glamour with a vanguard spirit within the city’s most important transportation hub, KL Sentral.

This August, The Brasserie at The St. Regis presents the launch of a new menu offering an immersive dining experience with an innovative take on Modern European cooking. Using only the freshest ingredients, the newly curated menu exclusively headed by Executive Chef, Keith Hooker, showcases seasonal European ingredients in its most luxurious form, combined to enhanced natural flavours. Designed to invite diners for an exclusive sensorial journey amidst a contemporary dining space, the location is perfect for intimate dinners and celebratory gatherings.

With over 20 years of knowledge and experience in luxury hospitality and Michelin Star restaurants, Chef Keith Hooker has worked alongside celebrity chefs such as Marcus Waring, Jason Atherton and Michael Roux Jnr in London. His travels around Europe and Asia have also inspired his creation of the new Brasserie menu, making it a truly remarkable feast to embark on.

Chef Keith recommends starting with a couple of bites of specially curated amuse bouche which includes the Cured & Smoked Salmon Tart, Cheese & Onion and the Confit Duck & Cherry. The first course starts off with the Hokkaido King Crab, followed by a choice of Wagyu Beef Tartare or Kaviari Oscietra Caviar. The third course introduces a hearty soup such as the Organic Poussin. For a show-stopping main course, Chef Keith recommends the charcoal grilled Boston Lobster, Atlantic Wild Bass or Sanchoku Wagyu Sirloin. He also recommends completing the evening with an exquisitely refreshing Lychee Rose, followed by Sesame Chocolate for an elegantly smooth and creamy texture. The tasting experience is paired with a wine that delicately compliments the flavour of each meal.

For vegans or the health conscious, an elegantly crafted plant-based menu is also available at the Brasserie, using only the finest ingredients, from locally sourced produce. Fresh herbs and microgreens are picked and used in preparing the gourmet.

For a mid-day soirée, The Brasserie offers a sumptuous 3-course lunch menu including a starter, main and dessert that’s served within 45 minutes. The Brasserie’s 3-course lunch menu is perfect for busy professionals who can also beat downtown traffic by taking the MRT and alighting at the Museum Negara station located right at the doorstep of the hotel.

The Brasserie is also serving an eclectic à la carte menu from the finest fish to salads and plats du jour.
