First introduced to the world in 2007, the Van Cleef & Arpels Poetic Complications Collection was inspired by the ethereal silhouettes of the Maison’s feminine figurines in the form of precious ballerinas and fairy clips first produced in 1940. Created with a blend of inventiveness and fantasy, this exquisite addition is an invitation to imagine, wonder and revel in joy and hope. Needless to say, collectors all over the world have been won over by the graceful postures and delicate wings of these muses.
The new interpretation of the Lady Féerie Watch highlights an interchangeable paved diamond bracelet. It also comes with an interchangeable leather bracelet and pin buckle set with diamonds. The watch has a delicately proportioned 33mm white gold case and bezel, both embellished with round diamonds.

A dreamlike scene awaits within, where a sculpted white gold fairy marks the passage of time with her magic wand under the gentle light of the silvery moon Her face, depicted by a diamond, forms a dazzling contrast with the bluish tones of the sky in mother-of-pearl. The same tone adorns her translucent white gold wings edged with intricately set diamonds and enamel.
Seated on a cloud of iridescent white, the fairy points to the minutes with her magic wand while the moon harbours the passing hours in a window of mother-of-pearl, haloed by a gentle glow. The back of the watch is equally enchanting, engraved with a full moon amongst clouds in a star-studded sky.

The Lady Féerie Watch is fitted with a self-winding mechanical movement, a retrograde minute display and jumping hours developed exclusively for Van Cleef & Arpels. The watch has a 36-hour power reserve and the case itself is embellished with round sapphire glass, providing a gentle finishing touch to the watch’s silhouette. This addition to an already exquisite collection blends watchmaking skills and traditional craftsmanship that celebrate the beauty of fairies in a world full of dreams and wonder.
