The first edition of The Peak Malaysia’s Mavericks get-together celebrated the movers and shakers in the Malaysian business society with some 40 specially-invited guests enjoying an evening of delicious drinks, good food and wonderful camaraderie recently on August 22.
Taking place at Selangor Property Berhad’s AIRA Gallery and Show Apartment situated at Jalan Gelenggang in Damansara Heights, the night featured an intimate guest list that comprised both the up-and-coming, as well as the more noted members of the Malaysian corporate scene. These included Dato’ Chevy Beh – the founder of medical care app BookDoc, Tan Kien Eng from Publicis One Malaysia, Institute for Capital Market Research’s Datin Azleen Osman Rani, Maybank’s Head of Legal Group Global Banking Regional Delvin Kaur and Puvanesan Subenthiran, the CEO of Privasia Group.
On hand to welcome guests was The Peak Malaysia’s Editor-in-Chief, Mindy Teh. “In this world, there are those follows who take the path less travelled. In celebration of those who dare to be different, The Peak Mavericks is an event that seeks to connect and celebrate the young and dynamic disruptors who are making a difference in the country,†she went on to say in her welcome address.
