Culinary magic in Phuket’s premier luxury resort, The Nai Harn.
The Nai Harn, Phuket’s premier luxury resort, is enhancing its reputation as one of the island’s leading wining and dining destinations by welcoming some of the world’s most respected chefs and barmen. Throughout this month Salim Khuory, the renowned Head Barman at the iconic American Bar at The Savoy in London for more than three decades, will share his expertise with training sessions for the resort’s bar and service staff, as well as create two new signature drinks featuring local gins – Iron Balls Gin and Kristal G.
At the same time, Chef George Panagiotidis, from one of Europe’s most iconic hotels, Anassa in Cyprus, will be bringing a taste of Greece to Thailand with specially prepared offerings during the resort’s daily breakfast and the newly launched weekend barbecue. He will also be introducing a special menu at Rock Salt, The Nai Harn’s trendy beachside restaurant that serves inventive flavours from the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa.
In March, the resort will welcome celebrated British chef and founder of Coast Saundersfoot restaurant on the shores of Pembrokeshire, Will Holland. During his stay, Chef Holland will offer a culinary journey, From Coast to Coast, at Cosmo restaurant, as well as create a selection of signature dishes for Rock Salt and a series of canapés making the most of fresh, local ingredients to be enjoyed by guests during the General Manager’s regular cocktail hour. To wash it all down, the wine cellar at The Nai Harn stocks an impressive range of fine vintage, including personal selections made by wine critic James Suckling.
Formerly the Royal Phuket Yacht Club, The Nai Harn is perched above one of Thailand’s best beaches and offers of the island’s most spectacular views – an Andaman Sea sunset against the dramatic promontory of Cape Promthep, best appreciated on the resort’s Rooftop Deck during the daily Magic Hour and Sunset Salutation Ritual.
