Rolls-Royce tells its origin story in a series of short films, premiering with ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’
Premiering at the marque’s website, ardent admirers of the world’s most prestigious car-maker can now learn of its journey through a series of short films. The first episode of The House of Rolls-Royce series, titled ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ can now be viewed to learn the story of the iconic muse that has adorned the prow of every Rolls-Royce for the past 105 years.
To tell the story of luxury’s most celebrated icon, the muse herself- Spirit of Ecstasy narrates her tale of inception as told through the mellifluous voice of  award-winning actress Kate Winslet. Modelled by sculptor and artist Charles Sykes in 1911, the Spirit of Ecstasy was created as a symbol to lead the dreamers, visionaries, innovators and leaders as they change the world with their ideas and actions.
Presented through ethereal visuals, it is a delightful manner for Rolls-Royce enthusiasts to engage further with the marque as they await the arrival of the new Rolls-Royce Phantom.
