The first-ever Singapore Film Festival in Kuala Lumpur opened recently with a delightful gala at Golden Screen Cinemas in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Fans of silver screen and friends of the island-nation thoroughly enjoyed the opening film, 7 Letters, a critically acclaimed omnibus featuring short films by seven different directors, commissioned specially to celebrate Singapore’s 50th year of independence in 2015.
