The Hollywood bombshell, who stole hearts worldwide with her distinctive performance in Martin Scorsese’s 2013 blockbuster Wolf of Wall Street, has been announced as the newest partner of luxury watch manufacture, Richard Mille. The partnership was a natural one seeing as Robbie’s outgoing personality and stunning natural looks perfectly complements with the contemporary spirit of the brand.
With this partnership, the actress will be bringing her creative energy and her own interpretation of femininity as she participates in the design of several models. This includes a special upcoming collection of which the proceeds will be donated to Youngcare Foundation that is committed to giving young people with high care needs the choice in care and accommodation that they deserve.
I am really excited to join the Richard Mille family, I have always admired the brand’s artistry and innovation. The watch we are working on embodies Richard Mille’s vision of horology; it’s beautiful, unique and modern. I can’t wait for everyone to see it.
Born in Australia, Robbie grew up on the Gold Coast before eventually moving to the bustling city of Melbourne where she began acting professionally at the age of 17. Her first big break was on the long-running Australian television series Neighbors which she was part of from 2008 to 2010.
A year later, Robbie decided to head for the United States to pursue her acting career where she was quickly cast in the critically-acclaimed series, Pan Am. After her unforgettable performance in Wolf of Wall Street, Robbie would return to the big screen starring opposite Will Smith in Focus, a lead role in sci-fi thriller Z for Zachariah and in David Yates’ The Legend of Tarzan before landing a role in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad as the iconic fictional super villain, Harley Quinn.
Robbie’s next big projects include Simon Curtis’ Goodbye Christopher Robin, and she has recently wrapped production on Craig Gillespie’s I, Tonya. The leading actress is also just as comfortable working behind the scenes as she is in front of the cameras; Robbie serves as a producer under her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment which currently has several films in development under the production banner including Bad Monkeys, Beautiful Things and Marian.
