02 Le Méridien KL

Prime, Le Méridien KL’s steak dining restaurant, is set for Christmas Eve with their four-course dinner menu. Dishes include entrees of cured Tasmanian Salmon and pan-seared foie gras. For mains, choose between Prime’s take on the classic turkey dinner – sous vide turkey breast with stuffed morels – or what the restaurant does best, a serving of grain-fed Australian beef tenderloin, served over polenta cake and Kataifi white asparagus. Then finish it all off with a slice of traditional pumpkin pie.

If you want to see how the Italians do Christmas, then the team at Favola, led by Chef Domenico Piraz, will delight your taste buds with a delicious authentic fare. Start with Astice All’algherese, gently poached Boston Lobster with tomatoes, baby potatoes and fresh basil; before a meal on Tortellini Natalizi, or chicken and black truffle tortellini. For mains, diners have a choice of Sardegna Nel Cuore (red garupa occones) or the Classico Ma Moderno (baked turkey roulade with creamy potato tart and garden vegetables). Then end the meal with a classic Christmas dessert of Panettone made into bread pudding and served with maple orange zest ice cream.
