The ‘wild child’ of champagne Perrier-Jouët and ‘fun’ dining restaurant Babe, are hosting a dinner series aptly named Art of the Wild to celebrate the appointment of one-Michelin starred Chef Jeff Ramsey as Perrier-Jouët’s Chef Ambassador for Malaysia.
The game-changing, Art Nouveau-themed dinner series, which runs from 26 October to 11 November, is inspired by the intricate floral champagnes borne out of Perrier-Jouët’s 200-year history and promises to be an exhilarating journey that celebrates the finer things in life in both champagne and in food.
The pairing begins with the wonderfully vibrant Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 2008, an ideal companion for entreés like the Crystal Gyoza, a dish of translucent dumpling and cabbage soup, and the Umami Tart.
The delicate and elegant Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut then brings its striking freshness and vivacity to bear on subsequent dishes like Babendazs, a Martell VSOP Aged in Red Barrels and foie gras monaka sandwich, and the Nagano Walnut Soba with its seven different herb, root and seed condiment.
Finishing on a high, the Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé’s generous blend of fragrant pear, citrus and mature red fruits is the cherry atop the Martell VSOP Aged in Red Barrels Mont Blanc made of cognac-infused chestnuts and vanilla crème.
The Art of the Wild is available in three menus – The Excursion, The Journey and The Voyage – which come in six, 10- and 11-courses, respectively. Sign up for the full experience for an unforgettable journey.
