Nothing really rivals the views you get when dining at Subsix. Located 500m from the PER AQUUM Niyama resort in the Maldives and 6m below the waterline, the restaurant offers a dining experience like no other. After arriving by speedboat, descend a grand three-tiered staircase illuminated by abstract Italian chandeliers into a space highlighted by soft anemone chairs beneath the soft waves of capiz shells draped from the ceiling. As you dine, keep an eye on the floor-to-ceiling windows and you may be rewarded with shoals of Moorish Idols, drifting groupers, sliding moray eels and a rainbow of butterflyfish, damselfish and parrotfish.
