KAVALAN
The maker of award-winning Kavalan Whisky is back with another surprise for the spirits world: Taiwan’s first gin. Leaping onto the bandwagon of craft gin, the distillery has chosen to take a fruit-forward approach with botanicals like starfruit, red guava and kumquat peel – all found in Taiwan – blending with traditional ones like juniper and coriander. Kavalan has also tapped into its whisky-making prowess by using a single malt base spirit made from malted barley.
