THE LAST DROP DISTILLERS 1982 BOURBON
Despite its name, the London-based company doesn’t distil its own spirits. Rather, its sole mission is to hunt down exceedingly old and rare casks and bottle them under its name. So exacting are the team’s standards that it has only had 13 releases in a 10-year history. This 13th edition is The Last Drop’s first bourbon, and is a 1982 treasure from the renowned Bu alo Trace Distillery. It’s the very last batch of its kind from Bu alo Trace and was distilled under the George T. Stagg name, part of the American distillery’s “Antique Collection†series. Just 44 bottles will hit the market at the end of the year.
