Louis Vuitton unveiled its new collection of bags in collaboration with American artist Jeff Koons last week at no less than the Louvre in Paris. Hosted by Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of LVMH, and Jean-Luc Martinez, President-Director of the Louvre Museum, the celebration included an exclusive dinner placed next to the Mona Lisa in the Salle des Etats.
The collection is a nod to great masterpieces including Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Jeff Koons put in his own contemporary touches to the collection with the names of the art masters emblazoned across each masterpiece.
Present at the launch were luminaries from the art world as well as stars the likes of Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux, Michelle Williams, Jennifer Connelly, Catherine Deneuve, Lea Seydoux, Miranda Kerr, Natalia Vodianova, Chloe Sevigny, Rila Fukushima and Fan Bing Bing.
