In celebration of the longest-running spy movie franchise James Bond’s 25th Anniversary, Leica launches a collector’s item aptly named Q2 ‘007. Only 250 pieces produced, the limited edition camera comes in an Ocean Green leather outfit, has the 007 logo on its top plate and the famous gun-barrel design on the lens cap. Each camera is individually numbered, making the ‘007’ camera a sought-after collectable.
The collectable comes with an exclusive, customised suitcase that’s also dressed in identical Ocean Green leather, designed by the British luxury suitcase brand Globe-Trotter.
Along with the release of the Q2 ‘007, Leica releases a selection of exclusive 25 black-and-white films taken by the cast and crew and curated by James Bond producer, Michael G. Wilson, during the production of the latest film in the franchise, No Time To Die.
He says, “When curating the portfolio, I opted for black and white images in the traditional style. Leica cameras and lenses produce excellent results in this medium. Each photographer not only brought their unique vision to the project but also a personal relationship to the subject.”
Michael G. Wilson, offers a personal insight into his love of photography and further explains the thought process behind his selection of images here.
