For serious collectors with a fondness for the avant garde, MB&F presents a new horological machine designed with the world’s first-ever projected moonphase display. Created in collaboration with Stepan Sarpaneva, the MoonMachine 2 is derived from the same mechanism and case found in the HM8 by MB&F. Housed inside this curvaceous yet angular case is a non-magnifying prism that allows both the time and moon phase to be displayed vertically, while fans of Sarpaneva’s work will immediately recognise the watchmaker’s distinctive moon face displayed on the moon disc and brushed titanium rotor. The MoonMachine 2 is available in three limited edition variants: a titanium case with white gold moon faces; a black titanium case with white gold moon faces; and a red gold and titanium case with red gold moon faces.
