Cartoons adorned everything from boiler suits to jackets. 80s Art Of The Deal cool made a comeback with less unctuous You Know Who and Gordon Gekko, more knowing Bret Easton Ellis. Trousers are looser, shoulders are wider. Designers also dared with sequins and pastels, turning gender definitions inside out. On every fashion industry executive’s lips, the name Gosha Rubchinskiy — the new hot shot designer to look out for this season is one Russian connection everyone wants.
