Inspired by a snowy day set in the Lower East Side of New York, the most recent scents by Amouage encapsule the intense colours of the artistic community that thrived in the 70s through the lens of a child. The Maisons’ latest aromas signify a personal memoir of a how a moment can transform a child’s view of the world as creative director, Christopher Chong, puts it.
Imitation Man incorporates a smoky touch of leather and vetiver veiled by a duet of violet and orris. Woman, on the other hand, features an invigorating blend of rose, ylan ylang, orange blossom and jasmine – a lighter aroma compared to its masculine counterpart. Both scents are refreshingly unique on its own, yet complement each other fittingly.
Amouage’s latest fragrances are encased in a glossy crystal neon ombre bottle emulating the vibrant city of New York. The bottles are packaged in a complementary opulent midnight-blue box, paying homage to the Andy Warhol art movement representing the cultural melting pot that is New York City.
Imitation Man is set to retail at RM1,145 and Imitation Woman at RM1,190.
