For over 20 years, VistaJet has transformed travel for the world’s gamechangers.
Asia’s luxury aviation market is experiencing a remarkable surge, driven by rising affluence, a sharp uptick in business travel, and increasing demand for seamless, high-end experiences. At the heart of this boom is the Asia-Pacific private jet sector — with Southeast Asia and India emerging as key growth engines.
According to market research firm Mordor Intelligence, the Asia-Pacific Business Jet Market is currently valued at US$1.71 billion and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.7%, reaching US$2.37 billion by 2030. The market is undergoing rapid transformation, spurred by modern fleet upgrades and evolving ownership models that reflect changing consumer priorities.
Wealth Is Taking Off

Ian Moore, Chief Commercial Officer VistaJet.
Much of this growth is being fuelled by a swelling population of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) in the region. “We’ve witnessed remarkable growth in Southeast Asia, marked by double-digit increases in operations,” says Ian Moore, Chief Commercial Officer at VistaJet, a global private aviation firm.
“This expansion is largely driven by the region’s growing affluence and the increasing demand for efficient, point-to-point travel among business professionals,” Moore notes. Countries like Vietnam and Indonesia are seeing significant growth in business aviation, underscoring the practical benefits of private jet travel.

The company’s pet friendly private jet service is designed by experts for more conducive travel with animals.
A 2024 report by UBS reveals that the Asia-Pacific region is now home to 981 billionaires, accounting for nearly 40% of the world’s total. According to Henley & Partners, four Asian cities — Beijing, Singapore, Shanghai, and Hong Kong — rank among the global top 10 centi-millionaire hubs. Singapore and Hong Kong alone are projected to see wealth growth of over 100% by 2040.
As Moore puts it: “Private aviation is becoming the preferred mode of transport for both business and personal travel. Clients want speed, privacy, and a curated experience — and they’re willing to invest in it.”
VistaJet’s Rise in Asia

Passengers can indulge in luxury in-flight experiences with amenities and gourmet dining options.
VistaJet, which has operated in the segment of private jets for over two decades, has seen exceptional growth in Southeast Asia thanks to early strategic investments in the region. “That foundation is now paying dividends,” Moore says, citing sustained demand for both individual flights and Programme Memberships.
A key driver of VistaJet’s appeal is its deep understanding of the needs of affluent travellers — particularly corporate leaders and entrepreneurs who value time, exclusivity, and customisation. “Time is the ultimate luxury,” Moore emphasises. “We offer a one-stop business flying solution that reduces travel touchpoints from over 700 on commercial flights to just 20.”
The company’s flagship Global 7500 aircraft, capable of flying 17 hours non-stop, supports long-haul routes such as Singapore to Los Angeles and New York to Hong Kong, seamlessly linking Asia-Pacific with the U.S. West Coast and the Middle East.
Redefining Private Flight

VistaJet is renowned for its unmatched expertise in managing complex travel itineraries for its passengers.
While VistaJet offers exceptional logistics and connectivity — including offices in Hong Kong and Singapore — its real differentiator is its suite of exclusive experiences that go beyond travel.
From Adventures in the Sky for children to Wine in the Sky tastings and VistaPet for animal lovers, the company is reimagining private aviation as a lifestyle platform. “We’re constantly listening to our members and innovating based on what they care about most,” says Moore.

One standout initiative is Private World — a curated network of over 600 global partners that gives members access to everything from private villas and yachts to fashion houses, art consultancies, and even Formula 1 events. “Our clients aren’t just seeking transport — they’re seeking transformative, one-of-a-kind experiences.”
Even pets are part of the luxury journey. One in four VistaJet members now travels with a pet, which inspired the VistaPet programme, complete with inflight pet menus and trained crew in animal first aid. “It’s about creating shared memories — not separation,” Moore reveals.
The Horizon Ahead

Through its network, VistaJet Members can fly to destinations in over 200 countries and territories worldwide.
Looking forward, VistaJet sees continued momentum across Southeast Asia and underserved island markets. As regional connectivity becomes more essential, the company’s global infrastructure ensures it is well-positioned to serve the next generation of international travellers.
With wealth across Asia showing no signs of slowing, and business leaders increasingly valuing time and personal space, private aviation is no longer just a luxury — it’s fast becoming the new standard for elite mobility.
