Golfing is one of my greatest passions as nothing compares to the euphoria of breaking the first 100 and 90. This sport has always been a way for me to fortify my mental strength, while practicing patience in dealing with stressful situations. Besides focus and concentration, it’s also a way to learn from mistakes while perfecting your game. As the late golfing legend Arnold Palmer once said: “Success in this game depends less on strength of body than strength of mind and character,” which I agree with wholeheartedly. My personal goal is to break my first 80 and I would love to be able to play golf at the Old Course at St Andrews in Scotland, which is one of the world’s most prestigious golf courses. Regarded as “The Home of Golf”, it is also one of the oldest as it dates back for over six centuries. Despite its antiquity, the course is still at the highest level of quality, and has actually shaped the way other courses are designed around the world! No bucket list of golf course destinations would be complete without visiting this legendary course, which remains one of the most challenging for both professionals and amateurs alike.
