One of my greatest passions is raising awareness about the importance of living sustainably. This is why I consistently work with the local orang asli communities in Malaysia in sharing my knowledge on technology and how it can help to improve their standard of living. A top priority for me this year is to reside with the orang asli for a few days to experience their way of life, which I intend to do in Pahang. I am also looking forward to spending some time off the grid and disconnecting with the rest of the world for a short while. Despite what adversities might be involved, I think the experience will significantly add value to my own life. The thing about participating in the rat race is that, at times, nothing ever seems to be good enough, and I feel it is important to realise this in order to curb this insatiable appetite. By experiencing what life is like for the orang asli, my hope is that I will be able to appreciate what I have while also influencing their lives in a more positive way.
