The new kid on the block is located at the corner outside, the newly renovated Starhill Dining. This is Marinis Group’s latest venture, offering a menu specialising in seafood and Italian comfort food.
The space offers an alfresco dining area and a bar. A more secluded seating area is located on the upper floor for those who prefer a little more privacy. Maristar also has two private dining rooms for intimate dinners and private parties. With large windows, natural light flows into the venue offering a charming ambience. When night falls, the place is warm and chic, perfect for cocktails and dinner with friends.
“Maristar is a unique space that has been designed unlike any of the other establishments by The Marini’s Group and allows us to bring something else to the table. We’re excited to be able to showcase our food in a new way and also work with The Starhill and other reputable brands to introduce new dining experiences for guests,” said Cavaliere Modesto Marini, founder of The Marini’s Group.
Seafood at Maristar
When visiting Maristar there are two things you must order, the Seafood Tower and Caviar. The luxurious Seafood tiers are filled with oysters ( Choose from Gallagher, Fine de Claire, Irish Premium, Tragheanna Bay, Sydney Rock and Brundy Island oysters), ocean trout tartare, prawns, Hamachi Carpaccio and lobster. The seafood is served chilled on ice with three sauces to go with the seafood selection. I personally enjoy the seafood on its own, as you can taste the sweetness of the ocean in every bite.
The highlight is the Maristar Beluga Siberian and Osietra Caviar from the Marini’s Premium Caviar Selection. Served with crispy bread, assorted condiments and cold angel hair pasta with truffle butter. Each caviar pearl holds a burst of flavour, their caviar is sustainable and sourced from a renowned Italian brand with their own caviar fish farm.

If you prefer Italian comfort food, we highly recommended the rich Mezzi Paccheri with blue cheese and radicchio. Handmade pasta is tossed in a rich creamy cheese sauce, absolutely divine. For those who are not a fan of seafood, other options include the Tomahawk Steak, Wagyu Tenderloin, and Boneless Lamb Shank with sautéed vegetables and truffle mashed potatoes.
