04: DIGI TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Here, the two cultures of Malaysia and Norway – since Digi is owned in majority by Norwegian company Telenor ASA – converge, where nature meets technology in a fusion of tradition and modernity. Digi performs a well-played balancing act between refined and raw materials. Inspired by its Malaysian roots and Norwegian influences, wood is juxtaposed with glass to evoke both a modern yet humble mood. Familiarity and clarity go hand-in-hand in Digi’s beautifully planned architecture. This balance between two worlds prominently show in the two main meeting rooms – named Skyrim and Wau, respectively – with each room enclosing a design that expresses each culture.
