Ferrari has just lifted the covers off the Amalfi, a sleek front-mid-engine V8 2+ coupé that takes over from the Ferrari Roma in their iconic lineup. This new model isn’t just about performance—it’s about blending thrilling driving with real-world usability and refined style. For drivers looking for that dash of adrenaline without sacrificing comfort or practicality, the Amalfi could be right up their alley.
Ferrari designers have given the car a clean and modern look with smooth lines and sculpted surfaces. Fresh and dynamic there’s also a bold air intake beneath a long bonnet up front. At the rear, an integrated active spoiler helps keep things stable at speed, while forged wheels and carbon fibre details add a sporty but classy touch.
Everyday Sportiness
Step inside and you’re greeted by a dual-cockpit layout designed to keep both driver and passenger engaged. The new steering wheel features tactile physical buttons and Ferrari’s classic aluminium start button, making for an intuitive driving experience.
Both the central touchscreen and controls are intuitively designed and easy to use. Carbon fibre and contrast stitching give the cabin a premium feel, while the 2+ seating layout affords extra space for luggage or even a couple of passengers in the back—perfect for weekend trips or family drives.
Under the hood, the Amalfi packs a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine from Ferrari’s well-known F154 family, delivering a hefty 640 hp. Paired with a slick eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, it rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, hitting 200 km/h in 9 seconds flat. With a power-to-weight ratio that leads its class, it’s built to thrill.
Driver Focused
On the road, the car’s tech shines through. It features brake-by-wire technology, an advanced ABS system that adapts to all surfaces, and a refined steering system that offers precise feedback. Aerodynamics have been fine-tuned too, with a clever rear active wing that adjusts downforce depending on speed and driving conditions—helping the car stay planted and confident.
Tech-wise, the Amalfi keeps drivers connected with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® as standard, plus wireless phone charging. The cockpit boasts a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch central screen, and an 8.8-inch display for the passenger, making the whole driving experience high-tech and engaging.
Optional extras like a front-lifter system help with city driving, and the Burmester® premium sound system makes every journey sound more engaging. Designed under Ferrari’s Styling Centre and led by Flavio Manzoni, the Amalfi is a modern take on the classic front-mid-engine 2+ coupé.
The launch colour, Verde Costiera—a vibrant teal inspired by the Amalfi Coast’s sparkling sea—really brings out the car’s bold, sculpted lines. As an overall package though, the Ferrari Amalfi blends elegance, power, and everyday usability. In essence, it lives up to the Prancing Horse’s ambition of delivering a Ferrari that’s as comfortable on a family trip as it is on a twisty road.
