Aman has always been known for the spectacular settings of its resorts, but its latest destination, located 27km south of Shanghai, could well outdo the rest. The culmination of an ambitious feat of architectural and ecological conservation, Amanyangyun sits amidst an ancient camphor forest that was relocated from Jiangxi province 800km away after it was threatened by the construction of a reservoir.
