Have you ever fantasied of partying during the decadent decade that was the 1920s? Well, you just might get the chance to relive the height of luxury and prosperity of the period as the Belmond Venice Simplon-Orient-Express will be organising an epic Roaring ’20s inspired event set to take place on the 27-29 of March 2020.
The luxury train will host a two-night experience that kicks off with a speakeasy-style party at the Belmond Hotel Cipriani Venice. Following staying one night at the hotel’s Garden View rooms, guests will be whisked away the next morning to board the Belmond Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.
Guests may choose to don their best 1920s-inspired outfits on board the train for even more immersion in the period and setting as the train takes across the best of Europe from Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France – where they can choose to disembark at Paris, and finally London in the United Kingdom, the final stop of the journey.
Guests will be able to take in and enjoy the scenic views of the Dolomites and Alps as they pass outside as they enjoy a three-course lunch inside the elegant dining car.
During the evening, guests may unwind with some drinks in Bar Car 3674 before tucking into a sumptuous four-course wine-paired dinner. Throughout the ride, guests may catch various “characters” of the 1920s making an appearance during their journey.
After retiring the night in one of the comfortable cabins, which includes three butler-attended Grand Suites, guests may enjoy breakfast in bed before the train pulls into Paris where they may enjoy brunch in the City of Love. Those who wish to continue their journey to Lond may board the Art-Deco inspired Belmond British Pullman for a spot of afternoon tea before they arrive at London’s Victoria Station, a wonderful end to an unforgettable journey.
