The success of Club Med Yabuli in Heilongjiang in north-eastern China, not surprisingly, has contributed to the opening of another snow resort in Beidahu in Jilin province, north-east of Beijing, which is renowned for the fairytale beauty of its ‘rime ice’ crystals, and for its great snow cover and long winter sports season.
