The largest French multinational hospitality company in Europe, Accor is a world-leading hospitality group counting over 5,400 properties throughout more than 110 countries. In October 2023, Pullman Hotels & Resorts, Accor’s pioneering design-led brand for the global nomad, finds a new home in Singapore’s downtown core.

Pullman Singapore Hill Street is poised to be the perfect playground for cosmopolitan travellers and new entrepreneurs. With its forward-thinking approach that centralises experiences and productivity into a singular interconnected property, expect the true hallmarks of Pullman – opulent, innovative, adventurous and geared for peak performance – with exceptional dining experiences and pioneering partnerships that will make it the new place to be and to stay in Singapore.

A Modern Tribute to the Golden Age of Travel

A brand-new property built on the site of the old Telephone House, Pullman Singapore Hill Street was designed by the award-winning DP Architects. Inspired by its prime surrounds of cultural sights, central business districts and shopping malls, the hotel is cleverly designed around a railway junction theme, harking back to Pullman’s 19th-century origins of introducing luxury to railroad traveling with the first sleeping trains and premier services.

An Energising Stay

There will be 350 Art Noveau-inspired rooms and suites dotted across the building’s U-shaped formation, which will offer guests varying views of surroundings – from the lush Fort Canning Park to the majestic views of Marina Bay – each thoughtfully designed with spatial considerations for optimal relaxation. A quick scan of a QR code ensures that all functions are accessible at one’s fingertips for seamless stays.

Upholding Pullman’s holistic approach, the hotel also comes with innovative spaces that include lounges intended as multi-functional work or leisure rooms, a 24-hour Power Fitness for guests to stay on track with their health and training goals, and a swimming pool with cabanas to luxuriate in, all within the hotel’s third floor for an easy transition between business and fun.

World-class Culinary Gastronomy

The hotel will be home to three distinct dining concepts that are an open invitation for guests to indulge and imbibe. Madison is a New York deli and restaurant that offers a modernised spin on classic American cuisine, featuring a menu brimming with comfort food like hearty burgers and sandwiches, alongside a selection of homemade pastries paired with coffees or teas for a morning or midday recharge.

Perched atop the hotel and flanking the rooftop swim-up bar is El Chido, a free-spirited Mexican bar where hotel guests or drink-seekers can unwind over contemporary Mexican cuisine and refreshing craft cocktails against the city breeze, with views overlooking Marina Bay Sands.

Hidden in plain sight behind a nondescript door is MOGĀ, a modern Japanese izakaya meets speakeasy bar inspired by 1920s Japan and the Prohibition Era.

Situated on street level is a Grab & Go kiosk where coffee culture pioneers Sarnies serve up fresh brews, best paired with Singapore’s best sourdough baked by Starter Lab Bakery, as well as hearty deli fare from Madison’s for those in need of a quick bite.

In addition, customised fitness programmes structured by the highly experienced personal training specialists at Strength Clinic Academy and a Signature Afternoon High Tea anchored by Dilmah’s exquisite tea blends with a luggage-themed presentation in a nod to Pullman’s storied history.

Discovering Singapore

Centrally located, Pullman Hill Street is marked as the ideal base for the city’s visitors. On foot for local adventures, the hotel is a short walk to the bustling entertainment and nightlife in Clarke Quay; museums and heritage sites including the world-class National Gallery Singapore and Esplanade; and calming walks in nature at Fort Canning Park.

Business travelers, on the other hand, will find key commercial districts just a stone’s throw away, with proximity to Suntec City Convention, Marina Bay Sands and Raffles Place.

The new Pullman Singapore Hill Street is set to pave itself as the premier playground geared for today’s travelers with core pillars of performance, well-being, exploration and art, as well as meaningful and intuitive design.

Mazen Abilmona, the General Manager of Pullman Singapore Hill Street, adds: “At Pullman Singapore Hill Street, we aim to offer our travellers a new, fun and immersive hotel stay in an incredible city like Singapore, and what can position us as a multi-faceted playground. Whether it’s our stylishly designed rooms, exquisite dining options, experiences and thoughtfully curated partnerships, we have put personality and hyper-connectivity at the forefront to demonstrate what truly made Pullman Hotels & Resorts legendary back then, while reaffirming its status today”.

Translating that narrative and the same ambitious spirit into the modern context means guests at Pullman Singapore Hill Street can fully optimise their need to focus, work and play, all in one space. Stay tuned as more details of the hotel will be announced closer to its launch.
