It’s been months since anyone’s had a chance to visit their favourite watering hole and so, many have perhaps decided that having a home bar is probably a wonderful idea. It is, however, not cool if the only thing you can offer guests is a couple of dusty bottles of liquor you can’t get rid of.

Highland Park 50
New liquor releases
Just 274 bottles of Highland Park 50-Year-Old will be available through specialist retailers, globally. It is made from nine refill casks laid down in 1968. These casks were combined in 2008 and re-racked into first-fill Sherry-seasoned casks. The bottlings were created using the traditional solera system, which takes a small quantity of whisky produced from a previous batch and marries it together with the new liquid. After 12 years of maturation, one cask was chosen and a small quantity of the last 50-year-old from the distillery was added. The result? An intensely rich whisky with sweet notes of ripe black cherries and Muscovado sugar, which give way to dried autumn fruits and warm toasted wood. It delivers the merest hint of cedarwood, wrapped in our signature light and peaty aromatic smoke.
