Under the sleek hood is the latest evolution of Maserati’s three-litre V6 engines in turbodiesel that produces a formidable 275hp with 600Nm of torque. Putting the pedal to the metal, this diesel-powered SUV revs from 0 to 100km/h in a mere 6.9 seconds and is capable of reaching top speeds of 230km/h.
The driving experience with the Levante is also an enjoyable one, with the eight-speed automatic ZF gearbox that provides four drive modes of Normal, ICE, Sport and Off-road.
