Luxury Hotel Group Aman To Open A New Ultra-Luxurious Resort In Niseko

Aman’s fourth property in Japan will treat guests to an exclusive luxury retreat and will be the first full spa and wellness resort in the country

Luxury hotel group Aman has announced it is opening a new resort in the Niseko region which is located in Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido. Aman Niseko will represent the group’s fourth property in the land of the rising sun and is set to open in 2023.

Guests will find the resort stretching across the slopes of Mount Moiwa, an untouched nature reserve that offers magnificent views of forest and mountainside. The Aman Niseko is dubbed as an all-season retreat, boasting to be the first full spa and wellness resort in the country. Within its sprawling 187-hectare residence will house 30 guest rooms, making it a very exclusive setting for its guests.

The interiors definitely invoke the feel of a traditional Ryokan, Japanese inn, but modernised extensively thanks to Australia’s Kerry Hill Architects who are famous for designing resorts that integrate with pay homage to local culture. There is a sense of comfort in the cosy lounges that feature fireplaces, wooden interiors and windows that stretch from the floor to the ceiling.

Aman Niseko will join the group’s three other properties – Aman Tokyo, Amanemu and Aman Kyoto.
