It Is The End Of The Road For Bentley’s Mulsanne Limousine

It is the end of an era as we sadly say goodbye to Bentley’s flagship Mulsanne.

The end is nigh for British automaker Bentley’s Mulsanne line of limousines. Given the current state of climate awareness, automakers are doing their part to go green though this comes at the cost of iconic cars like the Mulsanne.

Bentley’s Mulsanne has had a long 60-year run but the final 30 Mulsanne cars will take the form of the 6.75 Edition by Mulliner. Once these units are made, that will mark the final time the Mulsanne will be grace the factory floor.

More than a luxury car, the Mulsanne could hold its own in terms of performance with a 6¾ litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine roaring on the inside, capable of reaching 0 – 100km/h in just 5.1 seconds and  8-speed automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive, this was a serious car with immense power behind it.

There is plenty to like on the inside of the Mulsanne with sophisticated and cutting edge technologies embedded within with a powerful infotainment system and handcrafted interiors that you can personalise to call your own.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end and it is likely that production for the Mulsanne is slated to halt by spring this year. The Mulsanne will then hand the mantle of Bentley’s flagship car to the Flying Spur, which will see future models powered by a hybrid engine.
