Tucked away on a tiny hilltop village in Tuscany lies the celebrated boutique hotel Monteverdi.
Home to some of Italy’s most breathtaking landscapes with its verdant valleys and its delicious local dishes, it is the perfect setting for wine lovers to enjoy a nice glass of Italian wine.
Taking advantage of its magnificent view and relaxing setting, Monteverdi is organising a special four-night experience for wine lovers called the Brunello Experience, set to take place from 21 to 25 February.
For those unfamiliar, Brunello is the name of a wine that comes from the Montalcino region in Tuscany. These wine are made using 100% Sangiovese grapes.
Guests will be able to taste some of the best wine in the region together with celebrated Brunello producers Giacomo Neri and Francesco Illy to learn more about the celebrated wine.
But wine tasting is not the only item on the itinerary but guests will also gain knowledge from special cooking lessons with the hotel’s executive chef who runs the hotel’s culinary academy.
You can also look forward to meals paired with the top vintages from the region as well as wine-themed spa treatments.
