Luxury motoring enthusiasts are in for a treat as BMW Malaysia has just unveiled the BMW Luxury Excellence Pavilion in Kuala Lumpur. Right under the gleaming spires of the Petronas Twin Towers is a cocoon of luxury dedicated to the German carmaker’s dedication to creating an all-encompassing experience with their fine automobiles.
Encased in this glass pavilion is a machine that draws every eye to its sleek, muscular body. This stunner is the BMW Concept 8 Series car. Making its South East Asian debut, the handsome car is giving visitors a taste of what’s to come with the BMW 8 Series Coupé that’s expected to be unveiled later this year.
Visitors to the BMW Luxury Excellence Pavilion can take the time to fully drink in the beauty of the BMW Concept 8 Series, poised in the centre of the space to be admired from all angles.
From the offset, it’s clear that the BMW Concept 8 Series is designed to be a mighty machine with a new take on the classic BMW design codes. The muscular body is refined with a large kidney grille, broadly spread across the front and hangs low to the road, while hexagonal slim twin headlights brazenly stare forward. Large side air intakes in the front apron add to the vehicle’s sporty stance. The back is no less impressive with powerful wheel arches that hint at a rear-wheel drive and stretched –out rear lights fashioned into striking L-shaped blades.
On the inside, BMW Concept 8 Series is the epitome of luxury in Dark Brown and Fjord White Merino leather and Swarovski glass iDrive Controller. However, the automobile’s sporty instinct is not forgotten, expressed through leather-finished sports seats crafted in carbon fibre shell, a high centre console and low visual focus on the instrument panel. Suffice to say, the BMW Concept 8 Series has got us geared up for what’s to come!
