While the news is undoubtedly troubling, especially for passengers travelling for work, all hope is not lost thanks to a laptop loan service by Qatar Airways. The Doha-based five-star airline is committed to make the journey productive for passengers with laptops available for loan on all of their US flights and one hour of free Wi-Fi onboard for all passengers.
Passengers on all US-bound flights can continue working on their personal devices up to boarding where it will be collected at the gate, securely packaged, tagged and loaded as check-in baggage. Onboard, passengers can continue working using the laptops available complimentary in Business Class and utilise free Wi-Fi for an hour. To remain connected throughout the flight, the award-winning airline also offers a special Wi-Fi package for USD5.
