Conrad Kuala Lumpur Opens Reservations Ahead Of Late-2026 Debut

Set in Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle, the 481-room Conrad Kuala Lumpur will mark Conrad Hotels & Resorts’ arrival in Malaysia.

Conrad Hotels & Resorts is preparing to make its Malaysian debut, with Conrad Kuala Lumpur now accepting reservations ahead of its anticipated opening in late 2026.

Set in the heart of the capital’s Golden Triangle, the 481-room hotel will introduce Conrad’s contemporary interpretation of luxury to a city known for its layered heritage, vibrant dining scene and rapidly evolving urban landscape.

The arrival marks a significant addition to Kuala Lumpur’s luxury hospitality landscape, positioning the hotel not simply as a new place to stay, but as a base from which to experience the city. Key landmarks including the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower and Bukit Bintang are within easy reach, while Raja Chulan monorail station is located just steps from the property.

“As the first Conrad hotel in Malaysia, Conrad Kuala Lumpur represents an exciting new chapter for the brand and for luxury hospitality in the capital,” says Paola Caciolli, general manager of Conrad Kuala Lumpur. “Kuala Lumpur is a city shaped by heritage, creativity and constant movement, and our hotel has been designed to help guests discover those layers in a thoughtful and inspiring way.”

Contemporary Luxury, With A Sense Of Place

The hotel will comprise 481 rooms and suites, ranging from 40-sqm Deluxe Rooms to the 220-sqm Conrad Suite. Interiors are conceived around understated contemporary design, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing views across Kuala Lumpur.

Local artwork and considered details are intended to give the rooms a stronger connection to their surroundings, while in-room technology, including tablets, adds a modern layer of convenience.

That sense of place extends to the hotel’s experiences. Conrad’s signature Conrad 1/3/5 programme will offer guests curated one-, three- and five-hour itineraries designed around discovering the destination, while The Local Gathering programme will bring elements of Kuala Lumpur’s neighbourhoods, cuisine and craftsmanship into meetings and celebrations at the hotel.

Wellness will also form part of the offering, with Conrad Spa, a fitness centre and swimming pool complemented by experiences for younger travellers through the Young Explorers programme.

Six Dining Destinations

Food and drink will be central to the property, with six dining and bar venues spanning different moods and cuisines.

Among the headline openings is China Blue, billed as the city’s highest Chinese restaurant, where seasonal Chinese cuisine will be served alongside elevated views of the capital. Gami Teppan, meanwhile, will focus on Japanese teppanyaki, placing the theatre and precision of the cooking technique at the centre of the experience.

Together, the venues are designed to make the hotel as relevant to local diners as it is to international guests — an increasingly important consideration for luxury hotels entering established urban destinations.

The property will also feature the Conrad Ballroom and a collection of flexible event spaces for conferences, weddings and celebrations, with The Local Gathering allowing events to incorporate locally inspired food, experiences and details.

For Conrad, the Kuala Lumpur opening represents more than a geographical expansion. It is an opportunity to establish the brand within one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic capitals while interpreting its global luxury proposition through the character of the destination.

Reservations are now open, with a pre-opening offer available exclusively to Hilton Honors members for stays between 1 February and 31 July 2027. The offer includes breakfast for up to two guests and 15,000 Hilton Honors points, with a minimum two-night stay.
