Dining car

Food served in the dining car

The train
The Eastern & Oriental Express was the vision of American businessman James B Sherwood who purchased carriages that were then remodelled in Singapore with an elegant colonial esthetic. It made its very first journey from Bangkok to Singapore in 1993, and has been delighting passengers and capturing hearts with magical moments of vintage elegance as they travel across Southeast Asia.
