Even though most BMWs in Malaysia are used as a daily driver there are no doubts about this German marque’s capabilities when it comes to driving pleasure. For those looking for a pure version of this aspect of BMW, the newly launch 4 Series and M4 cars will be right up their alley.
Being a 2-door Coupé, the 4 Series cars were practically designed for having a little bit of fun on days off. The newly designed front has air inlets, the xenon headlights have been swapped out for bi-LED ones and in the rear the twin tailpipes have a larger diameter along with new taillights; the car was designed purposefully to stir emotions.
Concurring with its looks, internally, the 4 series cars also come with an enhanced suspension system that can be tailor-made to fit your driving style. This new system coupled with the advanced fine-tuning of the chassis and reduced body roll makes it a far more precise sportscar than its predecessor.
The current models in the line-up are the 420i Coupé Sport and 430i Coupé M Sport; but for those who really crave horsepower, the M4 is most definitely the way to go. The 3.0 litre M TwinPower Turbo in-line six-cylinder engine has a high-revving character with a peak torque of 550 Nm. The M4 Coupé makes 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. I guess the numbers speak for themselves.
The New BMW 420i Coupé Sport starts at RM 338,800 while the BMW 430i Coupé M Sport starts at RM 408,800 and the M4 Coupé starts at RM760,800.
