First Class travel remains the ultimate way to fly. But Air France is looking to redefine the segment with La Première. Launched in 1933, La Première has long been the epitome of the airline’s commitment to providing an exceptional travel experience.
Blending a rich heritage of excellence with cutting-edge design and bespoke service, Air France’s latest enhancements ensure that it remains at the forefront of premium aviation. Air France’s new La Première suite represents a major step forward in the evolution of first-class travel.
Developed over three years, the suite features a fully customisable design, with a seat and chaise longue that can transform into a flat bed. Measuring 3.5 square metres, the new suite offers 25% more space compared to the current cabin, ensuring unparalleled comfort. Guests can enjoy privacy with thick, floor-to-ceiling curtains, and the suite is enclosed by five windows, which is an exclusive feature.
Flying In Luxury
The suite’s design focuses on sophistication and relaxation, with plush leather, soft wool, and a harmonious colour palette of greys and reds, inspired by haute couture. Every aspect of the La Première experience has been designed to offer guests a seamless, bespoke journey.
From the moment passengers arrive at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, they are treated to an exclusive ground experience that sets the tone for the rest of their journey. Once onboard, passengers can indulge in Michelin-quality dining, with a selection of three-star cuisine, paired with fine wines and champagnes.
La Première also offers a range of technological advancements to enhance the travel experience. Each guest enjoys two 32-inch 4K screens, offering over 1,500 hours of entertainment. Noise-cancelling headphones are provided, and guests can connect their own personal devices via Bluetooth.
The suite is also equipped with wireless charging stations, USB ports, and 110V/220V electrical outlets, ensuring connectivity throughout the flight. Free Wi-Fi is available, and the airline will soon roll-out ultra-high-speed connectivity, providing an at-home experience in the sky.
Getting Personal
The experience of La Première is not just about luxury but also about personalised service. A dedicated team of staff is on hand to ensure that every need is met discreetly and attentively, making each journey feel special. This commitment to excellence is a core aspect of Air France’s service ethos, ensuring that every moment of the trip is memorable.
The new La Première suite will gradually be introduced on a selection of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft within the Air France fleet. The first aircraft, named Épernay, will begin flying from Paris to New York-JFK in spring 2025. Other destinations, including Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo-Haneda, will follow during the summer season. Currently, La Première is available on select routes from Paris to Abidjan, Dubai, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, San Francisco, São Paulo, Singapore, Tokyo-Haneda, and Washington DC.
