As premium electric vehicles continue to evolve beyond questions of range and performance, a growing number of brands are focusing on how cars integrate into daily life. The arrival of the refreshed 2026 Zeekr X in Malaysia reflects this shift.
Landing on local shores this week, the updated model positions itself itself as an urban electric SUV designed around modern routines, from work and wellness to weekend escapes. The 2026 Zeekr X arrives with a host of new features intended to make ownership more seamless, alongside enhanced performance and a more expressive design identity.
Priced from RM158,800 for the Premium rear-wheel-drive variant and RM175,800 for the Flagship all-wheel-drive model, the Zeekr X continues to sit at the more accessible end of the premium EV market in Malaysia.
Beyond The Commute

Rather than focusing solely on performance figures, Zeekr has centred the latest update around convenience and usability. Across both variants, the SUV now comes standard with automatic front doors, an intelligent interactive B-pillar, a multifunction steering wheel and one of the more unusual additions in its segment: an integrated cabin fridge.
Capable of both cooling and heating, the compartment is designed to accommodate everything from chilled drinks to takeaway coffee, reflecting the growing trend towards lifestyle-oriented vehicle features. Practicality has also been improved with a larger 404-litre boot, offering greater flexibility for drivers balancing fitness gear, shopping bags, work essentials and weekend luggage.
The result is a vehicle aimed less at traditional motoring enthusiasts and more at urban consumers seeking a premium mobility solution that complements an active lifestyle.
Performance And Everyday Appeal

While lifestyle credentials are central to the Zeekr X proposition, performance remains an important part of the package. The Premium RWD variant now delivers 250kW and 373Nm of torque, offering a WLTP-rated driving range of up to 445km. The Flagship AWD increases output to 365kW and 573Nm, enabling a 0-100km/h sprint in just 3.7 seconds.
Fast-charging capability also supports the demands of city life. Using a 150kW DC charger, the battery can be replenished from 10 to 80 per cent in around 30 minutes.
Inside, the Zeekr X adopts a more refined character with updated interior finishes, enhanced technology and additional comfort features. The Flagship model gains ventilated and massage seats, while both variants benefit from wireless smartphone connectivity, a Yamaha sound system and ambient lighting designed to create a more personalised cabin environment.
Safety remains a key focus, with a comprehensive suite of driver assistance technologies including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane-centering functions and automated parking assistance.
As competition intensifies in the premium EV segment here in Malaysia, the Zeekr X is carving out a distinctive position by emphasising lifestyle as much as technology. In doing so, it reflects a broader shift in luxury mobility—one where comfort, convenience and personal wellbeing are becoming just as important as performance and range.
