Ninebot Segway
The Ninebot Segway self-balancing scooter can be ridden like a handsfree Segway, while holding it steady between your legs, and travelling up to 30km at a maximum speed of 18km/h. On arriving at the destination, the transportation device turns into a selfbalancing robot, with a screen for a head and arms! Developed by Intel and Xiaomibacked robotics start-up Ninebot, which bought Segway in April 2015, the Segway is also capable of sensing its surroundings, recognising objects, people and voices like that iconic Star Wars droid R2D2… Now how’s that for a smart ride, eh?
