Thanks to Covid-19, Zoo Negara is in dire need of funds and making an urgent plea for help from the public. Our national zoo, managed by the Malaysian Zoological Society, is a non-governmental organisation that relies on sponsorships from individuals and corporations, as well as ticket sales. Sales and donations have inadvertently dwindled since the Covid-19 MCO.

The zoo has introduced adoption packages so members of the public can help with maintaining the hefty food requirement, veterinary and enrichment care for the animals.
Choose from various different packages starting from MYR50. Zoo Negara will acknowledge your contribution with an adoption certificate and even on their website should donations go above RM100. Depending on the donated amount, adopters will also receive entrance vouchers, stationery and acknowledgements in their annual reports.
