Integrated manufacturing company, Alton Industry LTD Group is teaming up with Johor Motorsports Racing (JMR) for the 2025 season. This new strategic partnership aims to unite the two brands driven by performance and innovation.
This exciting sponsorship exercise not only underscores Alton’s growing commitment to cutting-edge technology and high-performance industries but also further solidifies its presence in the global market.
The agreement was formalised during pre-season testing at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, setting the stage for a thrilling season ahead. In addition to backing JMR’s racing campaign, this partnership aligns with Alton’s continued expansion, including the upcoming launch of a new manufacturing and R&D facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, later this year.
Michael Roach, Alton’s Executive Vice President for Global Sales & Marketing and General Manager for the Americas, expressed enthusiasm for the new venture. “We are proud to partner with Johor Motorsports Racing for the upcoming season. As part of this sponsorship, Alton’s branding will be prominently displayed on JMR’s Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R race cars, team garage, outdoor media, and digital platforms, ensuring widespread exposure throughout the 2025 racing season.
JMR’s President and Principal Driver, His Highness Tunku Abdul Rahman Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim (Prince Jefri Ibrahim), Tunku Panglima of Johor, welcomed Alton’s support and emphasised the shared commitment to excellence.
JMR will officially launch its 2025 season on April 7, 2025, at the Permaisuri Zarith Sofiah Opera House in Johor Bahru. The event will showcase the team’s new livery, driver lineup, and season calendar, setting the stage for a great year of racing ahead.
