In a grand unveiling at Bordeaux-Mérignac, Dassault Aviation presented its most ambitious business jet yet: the Falcon 10X. Following a grand presentation, the aircraft emerged as a new standard for long-range travel, combining comfort, performance, and innovation.
“The objective is to allow passengers to experience time on board as part of everyday life, not as an interval between destinations,” stated Dassault President & CEO Eric Trappier. And from its grand roll-out, it promises to deliver that in spades.
The Falcon 10X boasts a cabin eight inches wider and two inches taller than its nearest competitor, enabling bespoke interiors that resemble modern living or working environments rather than traditional aircraft cabins. Measuring over nine feet wide and nearly seven feet tall, the cabin can accommodate three- or four-zone layouts, from dining areas and privacy suites to full bedrooms and optional showers.
Engineered For Excellence

The aircraft’s all-composite wing is a first for business aviation. Combining traditional high-lift devices with next-generation composite materials, it supports the spacious cabin while enhancing aerodynamic efficiency and reducing weight. This innovation allows the 10X to maintain the agility and runway flexibility Dassault Falcons are known for, even with its expanded size.
The Falcon 10X’s Pearl 10X engines, developed by Rolls-Royce, deliver more than 18,000 lb of thrust and outstanding fuel efficiency. Operators can access premium airports, fly ultra-long-range connections, and cruise close to the speed of sound—all with low noise and emissions.
Next-Level Flight Experience

Passenger experience is equally impressive. At a cruising altitude of 41,000 feet, cabin pressure is maintained at just 3,000 feet, while 100 percent fresh air is continuously circulated. Thirty-eight extra-large windows—nearly 50 percent larger than those on the Falcon 8X—flood the interior with natural light, creating the brightest cabin in business aviation. Individual climate zones and advanced air systems ensure comfort on every journey.
Pilots benefit from the NeXus flight deck, featuring touch-screen displays, advanced automation, and the third generation of Dassault’s digital flight controls. Inspired by the Rafale fighter, the Smart Throttle manages both engines, assists in noise-abatement climbs, and supports stabilized go-arounds. Combined with the FalconEye Enhanced Vision System, these technologies offer the first automatic recovery mode in a large business jet, expanding safety and operational flexibility.
Looking Ahead

With the unveiling complete, Falcon 10X now moves into flight testing. The program aims to validate performance across ultra-long-range missions, ensuring that once it enters service, the 10X will deliver an unmatched combination of speed, comfort, and cutting-edge technology. For global travellers seeking both luxury and efficiency, Dassault’s latest masterpiece promises a transformative experience in business aviation.
