Burberry Aiming to be Carbon Neutral

Burberry has pledged to become climate positive by 2040, becoming the first luxury brand to do so. The label has committed to cutting emissions across its extended supply chain by 46 per cent by 2030, and to supporting others in improving their own carbon journeys.

In a press release on its website, Burberry announces that it has set bold new sustainability ambition, which includes cutting emissions across its extended supply chain by 46% by 2030 and developing projects which support others in their own carbon journeys.

Burberry also announces its support for the Fashion Avengers, a coalition of global fashion organisations that have come together to inspire action towards achieving the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) guideline.
