The CHRONOMASTER Sport already holds legend status. Winner of the 2021 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève “Chronograph” prize, it set a new benchmark in contemporary watchmaking. Its hallmark: 1/10th of a second precision powered by the El Primero calibre. With the Meteorite edition, that mastery now carries the weight of the stars.
Each dial began life millions of years ago in space. It fell to Earth, then journeyed to ZENITH’s workshop in Le Locle. Craftsmen hand-finish every surface to reveal the Widmanstätten pattern—an interstellar geometry formed over eons. No two dials are ever alike. Against this galactic canvas, ZENITH’s tri-colour counters in silver, grey, and anthracite strike a perfect balance. Baton markers and Super-LumiNova hands ensure clarity, day or night.
The 41mm steel case recalls the legendary 1969 A386 but wears a sharper, sportier edge. Pump-style pushers and a black ceramic bezel add precision and resilience. Satin-brushed and polished surfaces elevate its modern chic. Water resistance to 10 ATM keeps it ready for any day, any occasion.
Inside beats the El Primero 3600. The calibre runs at 5 Hz, with a tenth-of-a-second chronograph hand circling the dial in 10 seconds flat. It offers a 60-hour power reserve, stop-seconds function, and flawless reliability. Through the sapphire back, the movement reveals a blue column wheel, a horizontal clutch, and the ZENITH star rotor.
The watch comes on an integrated steel bracelet, brushed and polished to catch the light. A black rubber strap with matching clasp offers a versatile alternative.
