The Overseas collection from Vacheron Constantin has long gathered admirers for its perfect blend of sporty elegance and high precision. This year, the stylish collection welcomes six new models, including two new steel models and four twotone steel and rose gold versions. Bearing either a handsome blue or rosy beige dial, the 37mm Overseas Small Model is fitted with the splendid in-house self-winding Calibre 5300 mechanical movement that ticks merrily for 44 hours. The two-tone iteration of this model features a tasteful 18K 5N pink gold bezel that sits atop a stainless steel case. For those who love to dazzle, it is also available with a stunning inlay of 84 round-cut diamonds on the bezel.
The star of the collection is undoubtedly the Overseas Chronograph – a 42.5mm timepiece that confidently beats for 52 hours, thanks to the self-winding Calibre 5200 mechanical movement equipped with a twin barrel that enhances its torque and reliability. On the dial of the stainless steel and pink gold watch, the iconic Maltese cross can be seen on the column wheel that coordinates the chronograph start, stop and zero-reset functions.
Finally, we have a classic Overseas model that comes in the gorgeous stainless steel and pink gold case as well. The fine-looking watch features an equally impressive movement that’s Hallmark of Geneva certified like its brethren in the collection. Inside the 41mm case is a manufacture Calibre 5100 mechanical movement that powers the timekeeping as well as date functions. The new Overseas models come with straps easily interchangeable without using tools.
