02 SHADOW PLAY
The Cape Cod timepiece has been a long standing favourite from Hermès, with its iconic ‘square inside a rectangle’ case designed by Henri d’Origny in 1991. The unique watch gets a sportier new look, decked in black as the Cape Cod Shadow. The shadowy elements permeate the quartz watch from the black DLC-treated case to the matte black dial marked with dark, rhodium-plated Arabic numerals. The strap is, of course, a marvel as the maison is renowned for its splendid leatherwork. With the Cape Cod Shadow, you’ll find a black Barenia calfskin leather strap, with red-burnished edges, that is also interchangeable with a double wrap-around strap.
