Urushi Year of The Dog by Chopard is the latest timepiece to continue the brand’s tradition of paying homage to the animals listed on the Chinese zodiac. Limited to 88 pieces, at the heart of its ultra-thin 39.5mm case is the Calibre LUC 96.17-L, a sophisticated mechanical self-winding movement with a 65-hour power reserve that features an off-centred micro-rotor in luxurious 22K gold. To commemorate the Year of the Dog, the dial side showcases an image of a Japanese Akita dog relishing the great outdoors while being accompanied by a dragonfly.
