You really don’t need a logo to recognise a watch from H Moser & Cie. Over the years, it has managed to make fumé dials with such finesse that it has become the signature of the brand. To further demonstrate the fact that its fumé dials are instantly recognisable, it also has a Concept series of watches that have neither indices nor logos on them.
For the first time, this Concept series of watches is offered on the brand’s Venturer case but, more importantly, it also marks the debut of a new colour – Blue Lagoon. It’s hard to peg the dial colour as a simple turquoise because it starts out as such in the middle but slowly grades to a rich black as it reaches the outer part of the dial. Pictures don’t at all do the fumé dial justice as, when you move this watch around, the way it catches and reflects the light from the sunburst pattern is simply breathtaking. And, by removing all the indices and the logo, and without a seconds hand, the watch is as pure as it comes.
The Venturer Concept Blue Lagoon is available in either white or red gold with two available strap options – beige kudu or brown woven leather. Our money is on the red gold variant with a brown woven leather strap. Each reference is limited to only 20 pieces and is fitted with a hand-wound manufacture calibre HMC 327 movement.
